For Human Hair:
|
-
Conditioning the hair is mandatory to its
maintenance. However, it is possible to
over condition the hair. Some signs that
the hair is over conditioned are
brittleness and tangling. If it does
occur, your best recourse is to use a deep
cleansing or chelating shampoo.
-
If you use hair spray or other styling
products, try to avoid those containing
alcohol. (Alcohol makes hair dry). Styling
products create build up on the hair and
it is recommended that a deep cleansing
shampoo be used biweekly to remove build
up. Build up can make the hair dry and
tangle. Use moisturizer to avoid this
problem every time you wash your hair.
-
Be sure to brush out the hair and remove
all tangles before washing it. This short
step is useful in preventing knots that
can be locked in from the water.
-
Some of our hair product has the cuticle
intact. It is necessary to follow these
steps: Always take hair from the top where
it is tied with string, NEVER take hair
from the bottom of the bundle. When
folding hair over to braid, the tail must
be trimmed short, just the tie off.
-
When washing the hair, always wash it
going in downward motion. Do not mix it
all together and create unnecessary
tangles. Use your fingers in a horizontal
motion between wefts to clean your scalp.
When rinsing, do the same to be sure that
all the shampoo and conditioner residues
are washed out.
-
Although the extension hair is real, it is
not receiving nutrients from the scalp
like your own hair. Heat is your hair
extension’s biggest enemy. The more you
use on it, the shorter the life-span of
your hair. We cannot guarantee that the
hair will remain silky if you use the blow
dryer or curling iron. If you must use
heat, be sure you use a leave-in
conditioner first.
-
When you sleep, we highly recommend that
you braid, wrap, or ponytail all your hair
together to prevent tangling. This will
save time, that would be otherwise spent
untangling the hair the next morning.
-
Never cut any part of the top of the hand
tied wefts. These wefts are hand tied and
delicate. If they are cut then we cannot
guarantee that they will not shed.

For Synthetic Hairpieces wigs: |
-
For best results, DO NOT BRUSH. After
every weaving, use a wide-tooth comb or
your fingertips to gently remove any
tangles. Store Seduce in its original
hairnet.
-
To keep your hairpiece looking fresh
between washings, and reduce tangles, use
a conditioner specifically formulated for
synthetic fiber. We recommend using
conditioner after every few wearing.
-
To clean, gently comb or finger-pick to
remove any tangles. Use only shampoo
specifically formulated for synthetic
fiber. Wash in cool water, following
instructions on bottle. Frequency of
washing depends on usage.
-
When rinsing, add one capful of
conditioner to cool, clean rinse water.
Gently comb the conditioner through the
hairpiece. DO NOT RINSE OUT. Layered
styles should be returned to their
original hairnet until completely dry.
Straight styles should hang until
completely dry.
-
Do not use curling irons or drying aids.
Keep away from all sources of excessive
heat such as: an open oven, boiling water,
clothes dryer, barbecue grill, even
cigarette lighters
